Message that any place that sells parts must also have "experts" in-house that can tell you how to use those parts, or tell you which parts you need for the specific goal that you have in mind.

If all a person wants is somebody to get them affordable parts in a hurry, then there are probably a few vendors on here who can do that well.

If, however, a person wants meaningful advice on how to build a reliable, fast car, or advice with regards to what modifications are appropriate for a specific goal, then I would say that there are very few that can do that.

My opinion is that you have to look at the shop's history/breadth of experience/etc. I maintain that very few shops can really build fast cars, or have the *real* experience to offer good advice.

Anybody can sell you a part and tell you that it's the greatest thing in the world. I don't want to be mean, so I'll leave it at that.
